Challenge: Pioneer Woman Monument, present in Golden Gate Park since 1910, was in dire need of refurbishment.
A dual marketing strategy produced a PSA viewed on KGO and KPIX and several other Bay Area television stations, and a two-minute fundraising film, screened at Art Commission award gala dinner with a copy furnished to targeted donors.
End Result: Pioneer Woman Monument was budgeted in six months, for restoration by sought after artisans and sculptors, achieving the 40K, necessary to for refurbishment. I received a letter of thanks from the City of San Francisco, grateful the Pioneer Woman Monument would continue to exist as a sculptural tribute to an important and romantic era of history.
